SUNNYSIDE-Marie Theresa Polito Robins, age 78, passed away February 1, 2017 at Lake View Hospital in Bountiful, Utah.
Marie was born August 4, 1938 in Trinidad, Colorado to Carmen and Millie Guerrieri Polito.
She married Eldon O’Neil Robins on December 10, 1961 in Ely, Nevada. He preceded her in death on June 24, 1967. Together they had one son, Jimmy.
Marie had a great admiration for her family and friends. Her grandchildren meant the world to her. She enjoyed spending time with family, doing embroidery work and crocheting quilts.
She spent many of her working years as a cook and janitor for Carbon School District where she later retired.
Marie is survived by her son, “Little Jimmy”, Salt Lake City; brother, John Polito, East Carbon; sister-in-law, Lois Polito, East Carbon; grandchildren, Tarance (Brittany) Robins and Dallin Robins; great-grandchildren, October Marie and Skye Mae Robins; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband and two brother, Jim and Carl “Junior” Polito.
Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, February 7, 2017, 10:00 a.m. at Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church in Price, Utah. Family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home in Price and Tuesday morning one hour prior to services. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are welcome daily and may share memories of Marie online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
