MURRAY – Our beloved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend passed away tragically and was called home on June 16 in Murray, Utah. Micaela was born January 14, 1998 to Jose Sigala-Sanchez and Kristie Rae Cook.
Mica is survived by her mother Kristie; stepfather Tim Herrera; father Jose; sisters Tysha (Andy) Cook of Taylorsville, Utah; Alexis (Cody) Valdez of East Carbon, Utah; Kayla Herrera (Austin) Seeley of West Valley, Utah; Ashlee Herrera of Murray, Utah; Carmelita Herrera of Murray, Utah; brothers Beau Cook of West Valley, Utah; Christian Gonzalez of Murray, Utah; T.J. Herrera of Murray, Utah; nieces and nephews Amada, Valentin, and “Lil” Andy Clamacio, Bryelle Valdez, and K’ysin Lopez; and great-grandparents Darlene Katchner of Price, Utah; Betty Cook of Wellington, Utah; and Ray (LaRae) Cook of Ioka, Utah.
She is preceded in death by her grandmothers Gina Birch Cook and Maria Regosa Sigala, great-grandparents Floyd and Hilma Birch, and great-grandfather Mervin D. Cook.
There will be a viewing Monday, June 22 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Millcreek 6th Ward LDS Chapel, 4558 South 600 East, Salt Lake City, Utah. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 23 at 9:30 a.m. at the Millcreek 6th Ward LDS Chapel. Interment will be in the Price City Cemetery, 595 East 400 North, Price, Utah, at 2:00 p.m. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
