Jordan Ray McGavin, after 23 years of pure and unconditional love and having fulfilled his mission, returned to the arms of his Heavenly Father on April 7, 2015.
Jordan was born to Jason and Shannon on Oct. 21, 1991 in Price. Jordy was a teaching spirit who taught all about determination, courage, and love. He never let anything hold him back. If you were one of those people fortunate enough to feel the glow of his love, you would never be the same. Most would have a new and enlightened view about challenged people in our society.
Jordan is survived by loving and devoted parents Jason and Shannon (Barker) McGavin, Herriman; affectionate, beloved, and loving partners in crime, sister and brother Alyssa and Noah McGavin; best friend and special cousin Lacy Slider Barker; adoring grandparents Ivan and Susan McGavin, Sandy; and Sheldon and Alice Barker, Arizona; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Preceded in death by uncles Ryan McGavin and Brett Barker, and Cousin Felicia Jackson.
There will be a viewing Friday April 10 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday April 11 9-10:30 a.m. Funeral service will be Saturday, April 11 at 11 a.m. All services will be located at the Herriman Rose Ward LDS chapel on 13122 Herriman Rose Blvd, Herriman..
Graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. at Cliffview Cemetery in Price.
