After a heartbreaking finish at the 3A State Tournament last season, the Carbon High Girl’s Volleyball team is preparing to put that in the rearview mirror as they set their sights on improving across the board in 2014.
The Lady Dinos will host their annual Blue-White game on Thursday night (August 21) at 6 p.m. at the Carbon High Gymnasium.
Led by a strong senior class, including Katee Martinez, Beth Child, Lauren Rice, Karina Ivory, Taylor Oliver, Aubree Robinett and Celeste Smith, the Lady Dinos and Head Coach Danielle Jensen have high hopes to battle for a Region 12 title and make a deep run in the 3A State Tournament.
Carbon will open the regular season at the Provo Varsity Tournament on Friday and Saturday before returning home to host rival Emery High on Tuesday, August 26 at 6:30 p.m.
