Annie Oliveto


PRICE – Teresa Annie Angotti Oliveto, age 83, passed away Jan. 28, 2004 at the Heirloom Inn while surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Jan. 20, 1921 in Sunnyside, to Salvatore “Sam” and Catherine Guzzo Angotti. Married Ross Oliveto Sept. 16, 1941 in Price. He died May 16, 2002.
Annie was a devout Catholic and practiced her religion faithfully. She gave many hours of service to Notre Dame School while her daughters were attending. She took a great deal of pride making sure everything was neat and in order with her home and person.
Annie enjoyed spending time with her family, sisters and brothers. She especially looked forward to the many visits with her great-grandson, Nickolas. She enjoyed time spent at the Heirloom Inn with Shauna, Kelly and all the wonderful staff.
Survived by daughter, Carol (Earl) Marra, Price; granddaughters, Machele (Shane) Lemon, Grand Junction, Colo.; Stephanie (Steve) Oviatt, Huntington; Nicole (Rob) Alt, Billings, Mont.; great-grandson, Nickolas Ross Oviatt, Huntington; three sisters and one brother, Mary Paloni, Angie (George) Farlaino, Rose Grako, John (Mary) Angotti, all of Price; and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Preceded in death by husband, Ross; daughter, Merlene; parents; and brother, Tony Angotti.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Heirloom Inn and Community Nursing Hospice, especially JoAnn.
Funeral Mass was Jan. 31 at Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church. Committal service, Price City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest contributions to Notre Dame Catholic Church.


James “Jim” Jentges


PRICE – James “Jim” Edward Jentges, age 63, passed away Jan. 21, 2004 in Salt Lake City.
He was born Oct. 28, 1940 in Lady Smith, Wis. to Jas and Molley Compos Jentges. He married Fern Winters June 27, 1989 in Elko, Nev.
Jim enjoyed fishing, cooking, playing cards games, doing canvas work and woodworking crafts with small tools. He enjoyed the LDS Church, and going to the senior citizens center.
He is survived by wife, Fern Jentges of Price; daughter, Karla Jentges of Missouri; and stepson, James (Angie) Brailey of Price. Jim is also survived by brother, Larry and Sally Jentges; and sister, Dorothy Jentges.
A memorial service will take place at the Fausett Mortuary Chapel in Price on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 10 a.m. Private interment will be in the American Fork Cemetery.


Robert Gordon


CASTLE DALE – Robert Lynn Gordon, age 63, passed away Jan. 27, 2004 at his home.
He was born March 20, 1940 in Salt Lake City, to Clarence LaDean and Irene Dixon Gordon.
Longtime resident of Carbon and Emery Counties. Robert was an excellent fly fisherman who loved fishing the Huntington River and the big rivers of Oregon.
Survived by children, Vince (Brooke) Gordon, Draper; Jennifer Gordon, Portland, Ore.; Angel (Martin) Ayala, Chicago, Ill.; Tina (Bill) Mason, Auburn, Ind.; Michael Ayala, Portland, Ore.; sister, Joyce (Harmon) Winder, Pleasant Grove; aunt, Con (Marlene) Jensen, Castle Dale; best friend, Perry Murphy, Castle Dale; and sister-in-law, Myra Freeman, Castle Dale. Also survived by six grandchildren and one more on the way, Megan Angela Gordon. Preceded in death by brother, Leonard Gordon; and infant sister.
Services will take place at a later date.
