Nancy Hardy


WELLINGTON – Nancy Ann Hardy, age 48, returned home to her Father in Heaven on Jan. 21, 2004.
She was born Sept. 10, 1955 in Los Angeles, Calif., and lovingly adopted by Thomas and Anita Pennington Wilson. Nancy married Delon A. Hardy for time and all eternity June 3, 1978 in the Los Angeles LDS Temple.
She poured her life into her family and was a strong example to all the knew her.
She worked as an aide for Carbon School District for 11 years and loved the children she served.
She loved reading and sewing and the times she enjoyed most were spent with friends and family.
She diligently served many callings and duties for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She is survived by husband, Delon Hardy; children, Janelle, Thomas and Daniel; parents, Thomas and Anita Wilson; brother, Thomas and Sandy Wilson; grandchildren, McCoy and Kora.
Funeral service Saturday, January 24, 11 a.m., Wellington LDS Stake Center. The family will receive family and friends beginning at 10 a.m. at the church. Interment, Wellington City Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Homes.


Ella Slama


PRICE – Ella Bitton Slama, age 97, completed her journey on earth and returned to her heavenly home Jan. 21, 2004 in Price, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Sept. 8, 1906 in Dover, England, to Benjamin and Lily M.M. James Bitton. She married Alfred Thomas Slama April 23, 1926 in Ogden, later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.
Ella was a devoted member of the LDS Church, where she served in numerous callings.
She enjoyed embroidery, crocheting and quilting
Her family delighted in listening to the many stories of her fascinating life.
Her family was her greatest love, by whom she will be deeply missed.
Her last years were spent under the care of her son, Albert, and his wife, Marylou, and their family,.
She is survived by her children, Lily Lucille Minter, Leonard Eugene Slama (Joanne), Albert H. Slama (Marylou), 126 grand- and great-grandchildren, and 24 great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by sons, David J., Arthur T. and Alfred Lee; grandchildren, Ricky and Peggy, great-grandson, Michael K. Kouris; and nine brothers and sisters.
Family and friends may call for a viewing Friday, Jan. 23, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Price and also one hour prior to services. Funeral servies will be Saturday, Jan 24, at noon at the Price 11th Ward LDS Chapel.
Ella will be laid to rest next to her husband, Alfred, in the Price City Cemetery.
