Baseball registration is scheduled for March 6.
All youth baseball players interested in competing this year will be able to register Wednesday, March 6 for competition. Youth ages eight to 12 are eligiable to compete and must sign up during the designated times.
Registration will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Those who will compete in the Price National Association must sign up at Creekview Elementary, while those competing in the Northern Heights association will register at Castle Heights Elementary.
Players are required to bring a photo copy of their birth certicate at the time of registration.
State bowling tournament will begin this weekend.
Top bowlers from across the state will grace the lanes at local bowling alleys beginning this weekend.
For the first time in over 30 years, the state bowling tournament will be held in Carbon County. The tournament will run throughout the month of March and will be held at both Country Lanes in Carbonville, and Gateway Lanes located in Helper.
The public is welcome to attend and are encouraged to come out and cheer on local bowlers who will represent the area with pride.
