    Price, UT- Luke Eugene Bruce (Noone), died suddenly at San Rafael Swell in Utah, mountain climbing on June 11, 2018. He was 48 years old. Mountain climbing had been a dream most of his life and he passed away doing something that he loved the most in nature and the mountains.
    He was born on September 14, 1969 in Rockford, Illinois to Leroy (Skip) Noone and Shirley Wheaton Peterson. Luke grew up and went to school in Price, worked in various professions from power plant worker, CNA, server, customer service and more throughout his life living and working in various states and counties. His family remembers him as a driven, loving and compassionate man.
    He is survived by his son, Seth Hanson of Salt Lake City, UT; grandson, Hayden; parents, Shirley Peterson, LeRoy (Skip Sr ) and Debbie Noone; siblings, LeRoy (Skip Jr) Noone, Bruce Noone, Karla Noone Benoit, JaiLene (Shane) Lindsey and Christie Noone all of Price; ex-husband and later partner, Leslie Dale Bruce originally of Canada; a good friend that he considered a stepfather, Monte Roushe of Price, UT; nephews, Lane, Bruce Jr, Robert, Kyle, Jeremiah, Gilbert; great-nephews, Jayden, Sabastian (Bash), Brookston, and Eric Jr.; nieces, Charity, Amber, Ashley, Bobby, Shaynie, Jaidan, Tiesha; great nieces, Tylie Anna, Shylee, Tenesson, Kysler, Atreyu, Tabriel, Declan, Willow;  special family members, Louisa, “Donnie”, numerous  aunts, uncles, cousins, many other relatives and countless friends from all over the world. He was a loving “Dad” to his cherished pet dog Amoeba Bruce. Luke is preceded in death by dad, Bud Peterson; grandparents, Harry and Luella Wheaton, and Pete and Grace Noone.
    In addition to his diverse and illustrious careers, Luke was an awarded photographer and an amazing cook. He was highly sensitive to the needs of others, but also had a sharp sense of humor, wit and was a “prankster” always making everyone laugh with a new joke.
    Luke was not religious, but he was highly spiritual. Throughout his life and many struggles, he continued to persevere and overcame many, right up until his death. Luke always had a positive outlook and inspired many.
    Memorial Service, Friday, June 22, 2018, 10:00 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home, 233 East Main, Price, UT. Family will receive friends one hour prior to services. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Luke’s life.
