    EAST CARBON-Lois Evans, 86, passed peacefully from this world on June 6, 2018.
    Lois was born to Harry R. Malaby and Ethel Hutchings Malaby on June 11, 1932 in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, Utah.  She married her eternal partner Ronald R. Evans, August 15, 1952 in Columbia, Utah, later solemnized in the Manti Temple.
    Lois was a life-long resident of East Carbon, working as a registered nurse throughout Carbon County for over 45 years, ending her career as a county home health nurse for Carbon/Emery counties.  Mom loved serving others, was a wonderful mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many callings in both the Sunnyside and East Carbon Wards. Mom loved to read, knit, crochet, and travel to visit family.  She had a great voice and loved to sing, especially with her husband and ward choir.  Most importantly, Lois was known for her kindness, generosity, and her compassionate service.
    She is survived by her children, Kerry (Keith) Radford, Clearfield; Barry (Annette) Evans, Sandy; sisters-in-law, JoAnn Murphy, Arvada Colorado; Patsy Stevenson, Broomfield Colorado; 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family.
    Preceded in death by her husband, Ronald R Evans, her parents, Harry R. and Ethel Malaby; brother, Randall H Malaby; sister, Nancy Bowlby, sisters-in-laws, Arlys Evans, Eddie Evans, Barbara Evans, Hannah Roberts, Catherine Monson; brothers-in-laws, John C Bowlby, Dan Murphy, and Clive Stevenson, Norman N. Evans, Gerald N. Evans, Glenn LaVern Roberts, Wade Turner, Ernest “Bud” Monson, all whom she loved dearly.
    Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 16, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at the East Carbon LDS Ward. Friends may call Friday evening from 6 to 7 p.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home in Price, Utah and at the church Saturday one hour prior to services.  Burial will be at the Cliffview Cemetery, Price.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
