Price City Council OKs $606k cemetery bond

Price Police Dept. approves new fees on public records, other items

Price City has authorized a bond in the amount of $606,000 for cemetery improvements and related matters.
In making the motion to adopt the bond, Council Member Rick Davis said the council has been apprised of this and has had ample time to raise questions and discuss the issue. The motion passed unanimously.
In other business, the council adopted a new pay scale for service fees charged by the police department according to the following scale:
Police/Accident Report (1 to 5 pages) $ 15.00, (.50 per page after 5 pages)
Officer Log/Calls for Service $ 5.00
Photographs – Color Digital (print or email) $ 2.00 per page
DVD/CD copies $ 25.00 plus shipping
Animal Traps $ 65.00, ($35.00 refunded upon return of trap)
Utah Right of Access $ 15.00
Governmental entities shall not be charged for copies of reports or officer logs.
Minutes of the May 9 meeting were approved.
An interlocal agreement was approved between the city and Carbon County for criminal prosecution services. (See related article in this issue,)
A wage adjustment was made for Sherrie Gordon in compliance with an original employment offer. Gordon has received certification as a Municipal Clerk.
Business licenses were approved for Internal Resolutions at 375 South Carbon Ave., Suite 133 and Red Dog Communications at 375 South Carbon Ave., Suite 137.
