Fred Deloy Keele

SPRING GLEN-Fred D. Keele, 72, passed away at his home surrounded by family on May 20, 2018.
He was born July 13, 1945 in Price, Utah to Frederick Manning and Pearl Valentine Peterson Keele.

Fred and Leslie raised three children, ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, all of which he instilled with the ability to work hard, be a credit to the community and be rooted in family. Fred was all about family.  He loved cars and racing from a very young age.  Fred was a devoted Chevy man and a self-taught mechanic who ran his own shop for many years which became a refuge for many retired friends.
Fred was a man of many talents and interests, there was nothing he couldn’t do or fix.  He loved nature, raising pheasants and chukars, and fed a covey of quail in his backyard for years.  He loved gardening, riding ATV’s, going to the Grogg’s Coffee Club every day at 3:00 p.m. and hunting with his son and grandsons.
Fred is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Leslie Keele; children, Kristi (Tod) Wilson, Jeffery (Sheila) Keele, Mekette (Rick) Hodges, all of Price; sister, Reba Keele, Salt Lake; brother, Rickie (Kate) Keele, Price; grandchildren, Justin (Monica) Wilson, Mallery (Johnny) Dunn, Brandon Wilson, Natalie (Devin) Bigelow, Matthew Konakis, Tyler Konakis, Sgt.
