Eight Carbon baseball players were voted to All-Region 14 teams last week.
Seniors Cody Lowe, Nate Olson, Zac Bradley, Cesar Laya and junior Ty Anderson were named to the All-Region 14 first team.
Lowe was named the 2018 Region 14 Most Valuable Player after a dominating senior year where he hit .510 with 52 hits, 40 RBIs, and three home runs.
On the mound, Lowe won eight games for Carbon and had an ERA of 1.71.
Juniors Collin Lewis, Braxton Bennett, and Anthony Jones each were named to the Region 14 second team as well.
These high players led the Dinos to a 3A State runner-up finish and a Region 14 title in 2018.
Carbon baseball went 21-10 overall and 9-1 in Region 14 competition in 2018.
They lost to Grantsville 12-4 in the 2018 3A State Championship after winning three games in a 24-hour span.
