Huntington- Orval H. Ward, passed away peacefully at his home in Huntington, UT, at the age of 87 surrounded by his family on April 24, 2018.
He was born June 19, 1930 to William Robert and Vola Larsen Ward.
Married Judith Day on September 23, 1954 in Taos, New Mexico. She passed away August 25, 2002.
With their love they built a strong solid family. He always had a kind word for anyone who needed help.
Orval loved the outdoors when the camp fires roared or just a quiet scenic drive. He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his two daughters, Vola Luther, Huntington, UT, Donna Litton, West Valley City, UT; two sons, Steven Ward, Cleveland, UT, David Ward, Huntington, UT; also survived many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Judith Day Ward; two daughters, Shannon Ward, Andrea Jensen; daughter-in-law, Lori Fausett; son, Wade Ward and five grandchildren.
He donated his body to the U of U Medical Research Program. Burial will be held at a later date at the Huntington City Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are welcome to share memories at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
