A very successful program at the Castle Valley Center is our transition kindergarten.
This year we have two classrooms for our kindergarten.
Students attending the kindergarten receive intensive instruction in skill development using the standard kindergarten curriculum.
Our students are here for a year of kindergarten and in most cases move on to the elementary school near their home.
After a year with us our students have developed the skills necessary to succeed in a regular school environment or a setting within an elementary with supports.
This allows the student to move through the school system and graduate or complete their education when the time comes.
