Emma Jean Chidester

    PRICE-Emma Jean Scovill Chidester, 86, passed away peacefully March 20, 2018 in Price.
    Emma Jean was the last of ten children born to Alma Asahel and Artemissia Burnett Scovill on September 30, 1931 in Orangeville, Utah.
    She married Joseph Aaron Chidester, February 13, 1954 in Orangeville, Utah; their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple.  He preceded her in death on October 22, 2007.
    Emma Jean was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She enjoyed embroidering and handiwork.  She was a loving and caring individual who loved to visit and care for others.  Emma Jean was a mother to many and her sweet spirit and generosity will be cherished forever.
    Survived by her children, Vanessa (Mohamid) BolourForosh, Frisco, TX, Darryl Chidester, Salt Lake City, Jeffery (Stacie) Chidester, Layton, Bonnie (Don) Sadler, Price, Mike (Vanessa) Chidester, Pocatello, ID, Rosanne (Cameron) Boren, Vernal, Diana M. Chidester, Price; daughter-in-law, Kim Chidester, Valley Head, AL; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph; son, James Chidester; brothers, Van, Orten, Elmer, Amasa, Alma and Claude; sisters, Leola, Helen and Sarah.
    Funeral service, Friday, March 23, 2018, 11:00 a.m., Price Eleventh LDS Ward (300 West 500 South) in Price.  Family will receive friends at Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) in Price Thursday evening from 6:00-7:00 p.m. and at the church Friday one hour prior to service.  Interment, Orangeville City Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
