Abajo Mountains: Some of the waters may be accessible on the Abajo Mountains, but road and ice conditions vary. Use caution. (03-02-18)
Academy Mill Reservoir: Academy Mill Reservoir and others above Joes Valley may be inaccessible because of snow and mud. (03-02-18)
Boulger Reservoir: Boulger Reservoir has stable ice, though access to the reservoir may be limited because of snow, ice and mud. Try using tube jigs tipped with mealworms to catch trout. (03-02-18)
Carbon County Community Fishing Pond: This pond is closed for the winter. (03-02-18)
Cleveland Reservoir: Cleveland Reservoir has stable ice. Try using tube jigs tipped with mealworms to catch trout. (03-02-18)
Duck Fork Reservoir: Access to Duck Fork Reservoir and others on the South Manti may be limited because of snow, ice and mud. (03-02-18)
Electric Lake: Fishing has been slow to fair at Electric Lake. Anglers are catching tiger trout through the ice near the boat ramp and off other points. The fishing has been best before noon using tube jigs. (03-02-18)
Fairview Lakes: Fairview Lakes may be inaccessible with highway vehicles because of recent snow. (03-02-18)
Ferron Reservoir: Ferron Reservoir and others on the South Manti may be inaccessible with highway vehicles. (03-02-18)
Gigliotti Pond: Gigliotti Pond has frozen over again, but the ice is only two or three inches thick and too unstable for ice fishing. (03-02-18)
Gooseberry Reservoir: Gooseberry Reservoir may be inaccessible because of snow and mud. (03-02-18)
Grassy Lake: Grassy Lake and other waters on the South Manti are currently inaccessible to highway vehicles due to ice on the road. (03-02-18)
Huntington North Reservoir: Parts of the reservoir have frozen over again, but there’s still a lot of open water. The ice is too unstable for ice fishing. (03-02-18)
Huntington Reservoir: Anglers have had success catching tiger trout at Huntington Reservoir using a paddle bug, tube jig or a plain jighead tipped with worms. Red shiners have been less effective lately. (03-02-18)
Joes Valley Reservoir: The reservoir still has a lot of ice, but the ice thickness varies greatly across the reservoir. Use extra caution when fishing here. Try using spoons or jigs tipped with chub meat to catch trout. A new catch-and-release record for splake was made official on Jan. 24. The record 30.5-inch splake was caught in November. (03-02-18)
Knight-Ideal Community Fishing Pond:  The Knight-Ideal Community Fishing Pond in Wellington reopened on Mar. 1. Most of the pond has open water. Try using worms or PowerBait to catch trout. (03-02-18)
La Sal Mountains:  Many waters on the La Sal Mountains are either inaccessible to highway vehicles or covered with unstable ice. (03-02-18)
Lower Fish Creek: Access may be limited to Lower Fish Creek as snow and ice accumulate, but you may be able to access the creek below Scofield dam with a four-wheel drive. Try using panther martin spinners or green soft hackle flies for catching trout and chubs. (03-02-18)
Miller Flat Reservoir: The reservoir may be accessible in a four-wheel drive vehicle. Try using tube jigs tipped with mealworms to catch trout. (03-02-18)
Millsite Reservoir & State Park: Millsite Reservoir has variable ice conditions and lots of open water. Try using tube jigs or spinners to catch trout. Some anglers have had luck catching larger trout off the dam. (03-02-18)
Petes Hole: Petes Hole, and other waters above Joes Valley, may be inaccessible because of snow, ice and mud. (03-02-18)
Potters Ponds: Potters Ponds may be inaccessible with highway vehicles because of snow, ice and mud. (03-02-18)
Price River: Much of the Price River through Price Canyon has frozen over, making fishing impossible in many areas. (03-02-18)
Right Fork of Huntington Creek: Many parts of Huntington Creek are frozen over, so fishing may be difficult, depending on where you go. (03-02-18)
Scofield Reservoir: Anglers have been ice fishing near the dam cove, near Madison Bay and near the island on the west side of the reservoir. Much of the ice around the edges, however, has become unstable, so use caution. Anglers have had success catching rainbow and cutthroat trout using white/chartreuse jigs tipped with chub meat or waxworms. Paddle bugs, clear/speckled tube jigs and green glow ice flies tipped with a waxworm have also worked well. Try fishing between 16 and 22 feet of water, close to the bottom. (03-02-18)
Soup Bowl: Soup Bowl, and other waters on the South Manti, may be inaccessible with highway vehicles. (03-02-18)
Willow Lake: Willow Lake, and other waters on the South Manti, may be inaccessible with highway vehicles. (03-02-18)
