During the Price City Council meeting on Feb. 28 the following issues were discussed and approved:
The city council agreed to offer a letter of support to pursue a grant to Baseball Tomorrow Fund for construction of lighting for two fields at the Atwood Baseball Complex. The grant will be written by officials with the Cal Ripken League.
Minutes were approved from the Feb. 14, 2018 meeting
Three employees were promoted: R. Matkin, R. Christensen, and J. Wichmann to W/S/T Operator I, II, and III, respectively.
The city policy regarding payment of utilities has been rewritten. The new policy was approved by the council. A copy of the entire policy can be reviewed at the Price City building.
The council approved an application to use the Price City Fire Station for the Humane Society Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast fundraiser on March 17, 2018.
A business license was approved for Zooks Solutions Inc., to be located at 45 East Main Street.
A travel request was approved for Debbie Worley, at the Police Dept., for grant training March 7-9 in Moab, UT.
