Chamber of Commerce inducts new president, board members

The Carbon County Chamber of Commerce inducted a new president and new board members at its annual Installation & Awards Banquet Jan. 18 at the Tuscan Events Center in Price.

    The Carbon County Chamber of Commerce inducted its newest group of board members and a new president.
    Ryan Murray, director of Utah State University Eastern’s small business development center, takes the chamber’s helm, replacing local attorney Robert Oliver, the immediate past president.
    Colleen Loveless, CEO of Love-Less Ash/Dustless Technologies, was inducted this year as the chamber’s vice president.
    Jana Hopes, owner of Carbon Print and Design, replaces Loveless as the chamber’s new treasurer.
    Kerri Barker rounds out the chamber’s executive board as secretary.
    New regular chamber board members inducted last week are: Richard Tatton of Tatton insurance, Mark Holyoak, CEO of Castleview Hospital, Ben Heaton of the Tony Basso Group, Ann Anderson, of Castle Country Radio, Amanda Piaz-Holly of Marketing Elevated, Jen Colosimo of Castleview Hospital, Daniella Howa Pendergrass of Eastern Utah Women’s Health, and finally, Barbara Haeck of Peczuh Printing.
    Besides the induction ceremony, the chamber installation included a dinner and silent auction, as well as a variety of awards.
    A message to chamber members from Murray included a vision for 2018. It read: “As a chamber board, our vision for 2018 is a time to strengthen partnerships and work collaboratively with other entities, organizations and individuals who share our common objectives.”
