HUNTINGTON-Our beloved grandmother, sister, and longtime friend, Helen Eliza Kinder Majnik, 97, passed away peacefully January 9, 2018 at the Heirloom Inn in Price.
She was born February 1, 1920 in Huntington, Utah to Franklin A. Kinder and Lucille Allen. Helen married Charles “Chuck” Majnik, September 5, 1953. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple.
Survived by her sister, LaRue (Lloyd) Taylor; granddaughters, Tonya (James) Woolsey, Kim (Curt) Gehrke; great-grandchildren, Bronzen (Crystal) Woolsey, Brock (Candace) Woolsey, Kajli Gehrke; great-goddaughter, Rachael (Garrett) Trahan; great-great-grandchildren, Bella, Ruby, Cambria, Damian, Avae, Torin and many nephews, nieces, cousins as well as numerous lifelong friends. Helen was a dedicated Pink Lady at Castleview Hospital for over 30 years.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband Charles, daughter, Georgia; son-in-law, Jay Price; grandson, Charles Jay Price; five brothers and two sisters.
Funeral service, Saturday, January 13, 2018, 11:00 a.m., Huntington First LDS Ward (115 South 400 East) where the family will begin receiving friends at 9:30 a.m. Interment, Huntington City Cemetery.
