Tony

    Anthony (Tony) Arthur Valdez, our loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, nino, and friend, returned home to our heavenly father on November 17, 2017.
    Tony was born May 6th, 1948 in Price, Utah and resided in Mesa, Arizona, half of the time. He loved to travel, spend time with family and enjoyed being in the outdoors.
    Tony entered the US Army where he proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. Following his enlistment he worked in the Kaiser Mine where he was injured, among other job opportunities he pursued. Before he retired he worked as a foreman at a construction company in Arizona.  
    Tony was preceded in death by his parents Joe E. Valdez and Ruby Palacios grandparents raised him, Celestino and Deltina Valdez son of “Anthony Arthur Valdez Jr.” twin to Adicia, brother, Joseph Herrera, sister Eileen Nalencia.
    He is survived by his daughters, JoZette (Stephen) Algiene, Antionette, Adicia, Raquel, Whitney Valdez, mom, Timber Valdez, brothers, Bobby, Ricky (JoAnn), Lewis (Sylvia), Cecil, Terry, Gregg (Nicholas) Valdez, multiple grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and god children.
    Funeral service, Saturday, January 6, 2018, 10:00 a.m. at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 210 N. Carbon Ave. Price Utah with a Rosary then mass. Burial will be at the Price Cemetery.
