Kenny Leo

PRICE-Kenny Leo left his bow and arrows at home on December 24, 2017 and journeyed to a heavenly home to meet his maker.  He was born in Price, Utah on May 18, 1954 to Al and Bernice Leo. He grew up in Castle Gate and attended Carbon High and the College of Eastern Utah. On September 10, 1976, he married his high school sweetheart, Vickie Edmunds, and together they raised two beautiful children, Michelle Cousins (Michael) and Dallas Leo.  Kenny placed a bow in Dallas’ hand at the age of two, and this father-son duo became inseparable, spending immeasurable hours in the quiet and peaceful woods bow hunting.  Kenny was Dallas’ best friend, Michelle’s rock, and Vickie’s love.
Kenny always enjoyed time spent with his siblings: Alberta, Art (Trosie, deceased), Katherine (Chipper, deceased), Dave (Skip), Albert (Poncho), Robert (Gordie).  When together, laughter filled the room and lightened the heart.  Kenny was an extremely social man and always looked forward to time spent with friends over a hot cup of coffee.  He had a delightful sense of humor, and any conversation had with Kenny was sure to include laughter.
Kenny was a very successful bow hunter and displayed his trophies proudly.  He was named Bow Hunter of the Year in 2000 and again in 2009. He was a senior member and official measurer of the Pope and Young Club for over 30 years and enjoyed the friends he made in the process.
Kenny valued his career greatly and spent most of his working career in the freight business where again, he was very successful and his customers always became great friends.  Kenny was a wonderful husband, a loving father and a best friend. He brought love and laughter into to lives of all who knew him, and his passing has left us with a void that can never be filled.
