Ralph Redford

    WELLINGTON-Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and longtime friend, Ralph Wade Redford, 77, passed away December 12, 2017 at the University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City.
    He was born in Rains, Utah on March 12, 1940 to Robert John and Hazel Baker Redford.  Married Georgina Kovan, December 6, 1963 in the Salt Lake Temple.
    Ralph had a profound love of the gospel of Jesus Christ and loved his grandchildren dearly.  He was a smart man who worked as a manufacturing engineer for John Deere in Iowa, Eaton in Michigan, Carrier in New York, Trane in Texas and Snap-On in Illinois.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
    Ralph is survived by his wife, Georgina Redford, Wellington; son, Mark (Kelly) Redford, Danville, CA; daughter, Ranae (Steven) Crippen, Layton; brothers and sisters, Peggy White, Price, Warren (Lee) Cowley, Austin, TX, Jeff (Tonya) Cowley, Helper, Roberta (Parl) Stevenson, Altamont, UT; 8 grandchildren, Madison, Griffin, Isabelle, Cooper, Kyler, Trey, Kellan and Quinn.
    Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Ted and Danny Cowley; and a brother-in-law, Rulon White.
    Funeral service, Saturday, December 16, 2017, 12:00 noon, Wellington First LDS Ward (50 North 100 East) where the family will receive friends one hour prior to services.  Interment will be in the Price City Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Ralph online www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
