Frank Ray Walker

    Frank Ray Walker, 73, passed away on October 19, 2017. He was born on October 28, 1943 in Price, Utah to the late John Ralph Walker and Hazel Milano Snyder.
    Frank is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Winnie J. Walker; daughter Jeri Lynn Knox (husband, John); son Rex Wilson Walker (wife, Jennifer); son Justin Ray Walker (wife, Laura); sister Bette Jo Chavez; 7 grandchildren; Brandon, Jeremy, Sean, Evan, Emily, Matthew, Katy and 2 great-grandchildren; McKenna and Corbin.
    Frank proudly served in the U.S. Army as private first class from 1961-1964. He was an Auto Mechanic until 1968 when he became a Station Agent with West Coast Airlines. Through several mergers and acquisitions, Frank retired as an Operations Agent for Northwest Airlines in 2003 after 35 years in the Airline Industry. He was a proud member and Shop Steward for the International Association of Machinists. Post retirement, Frank enjoyed delivering gunlocks for Project ChildSafe.
    Frank had a deep passion for the outdoors and enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting, camping and gardening. Frank liked to travel, meet new people, enjoyed watching professional sports and was a self-studied expert on history and geography. Frank loved to read books and had a wonderful talent for telling a story. What Frank cherished most was making good memories with family and friends.
    Visitation will be on November 7, 2017 at Flanner Buchanan-Speedway, 2950 N. High School Rd., from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. with the memorial service immediately following.
