As the first woman owned and operated women’s health care practice in our area, it is exciting to be celebrating our 5th year anniversary! In this short period of time, we have provided high quality, cost effective care to a countless number of women. By contracting with insurance companies and working diligently to secure local, state and federal funding we ensure that all women have access to women’s health care.
As a result of this thriving business, I was the first nurse practitioner to be featured in AARP’s magazine. I was also one of twenty nurses in the nation named as a Breakthrough Leader in Nursing by the Future of Nursing: Campaign for Action, a joint initiative of AARP and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. I currently work as nurse consultant for the Center to Champion Nursing in America located in Washington, DC.
