The Business Expansion and Retention (BEAR) general meetings in November are being changed. The meeting that was scheduled on November 9 will not be held. Instead the BEAR executive board urges members to attend the USU Eastern Business Conference entitled “Growing from within.” The conference organizers hope to have everyone that attends leave with a new entrepreneurial perspective.
The conference will feature some premier keynote speakers, in-depth break out sessions, information on business innovation and networking sessions. It will take place at the Jennifer Leavitt Student Center on the USU Eastern Price Campus.
Information on registration can be found at http://www.usueastern.edu/businessconference/
There will be no BEAR meeting on November 23 because of the Thanksgiving holiday.
The next regularly scheduled BEAR general meeting will take place on December 7 and will feature Jeanie Gagon and she will speak about the Gagon Medical Clinic.
BEAR meetings are held in the Alumni Room at the Jennifer Leavitt Student Center generally every other Thursday. They begin at 8 a.m. and end by 9 a.m. each time. The public is welcome and light refreshments are always served.
