Carbon students Zade Carrillo, Ryan Gagon and Ryker Smith were notified recently that they had bee selected to the Utah High School Athletics Association’s All-State Golf Team.
This award is symbolic of the sacrifices that have to be made to maintain excellent grades while participating in a school sponsored sport. They were told that academics and athletics are wonderful curriculum partners.
These Carbon students represented three of the ten listed in the 3A classification. No other school had more than one academic scholar.
Three golfers earn Academic All-state honors
