BK’s Stop and Shop

BKs Stop and Shop in Huntington has been operating for 41 years now. Its location was previously the Wilson Cafe. Bevan Wilson along with his son Kent started the business which was the first convenience story in Carbon and Emery counties. The store is at the junction of Main and the Huntington Canyon Road.
BKs has a wide variety of grocery items along with a deli which makes the best pizza around. They have rotisserie chicken, chicken strips, corn dogs, hot dogs and much more. There are sandwiches and salads ready made.
BKs also offers catering for any event, no event is too large or too small. He specializes in steaks and prime rib. They offer lasagna with salads and desserts. You can choose any main dish you want and he’ll make it happen. The store prepares meat and cheese trays for parties and events. One event catered each year is the annual Emery County senior citizens lamb fry lunch. This is an appreciation dinner for all the senior citizens do for our county.
The store has diesel and gas and you can pay at the pump after hours.
They have a wide variety of drinks including soda pop, juices, beer and the ever popular coffee. Just grab a cup of coffee and put your donation in the jar.
BKs throughout the years has been very generous to ball teams and any and all fundraising efforts in the county. If you haven’t had a BKs pizza yet you need to call 435-687-9393 and get one cooking.
Kent Wilson has been very active in the community and is a member of the Emery County Chamber of Commerce. He believes if everyone supports local business then things will be better for the entire community.
