Joyce Chiaretta

PRICE- Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Joyce Williams Chiaretta, age 89, passed away at her home in Price, Utah surrounded by her loving family on September 11, 2017. 
She was born December 19, 1927 in Columbia, Utah to Russell and Leah Draper Williams. Joyce married the love of her life, Jack Chiaretta, on January 22, 1946 in Price, Utah. Together they had 5 children.
Joyce enjoyed reading, gardening, singing and camping with her family. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Joyce loved working on the farm and will be remembered as Jack’s top farmhand.
She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Jack Chiaretta; children, Denise (Zeke Pontius) Chiaretta of Parachute, CO., Jon (Sharlene) Chiaretta of Ferron, UT., Laurie (Larry) Murdock of Price, UT. And Eric Chiaretta of Price, UT.; brother, Russell “Sam” Williams of Leeds, UT.; grandchildren, R.J (Jeanna) Davis, Dina (Matt) Wise, Damon (Lizz) Davis, Sara (Eric) McCarty, Jake Murdock, Brandon (Jenifer) Wilde, Russell Chiaretta, Katrina (Anthony) Kelley and Hope Chiaretta as well as 14 great grandchildren.
Joyce is preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Lisa; 7 sisters and 1 brother; great grandson, Aiden M. Murdock.
There will be an evening visitation held on Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home in Price where family will receive friends.
