Jim Procarione

PRICE-Our loving father, brother, uncle and longtime friend, James L. Procarione, 91, passed away July 18, 2017 at his home in Price.
Born September 23, 1925 in Price, Utah to Anton “Tony” and Maria Perelli Procarione. Jim was proud of his heritage and the fact that he was a first generation Italian immigrant.
Jim was a lifelong resident of Carbon County who graduated from Carbon High and later attended Carbon College. He was a tireless worker who retired from National Mine Service as a warehouse manager. Jim was a sports enthusiast who especially loved baseball and bowling. He was a proud Yankee fan and in his youth played minor league baseball. He loved bowling so much, that if he had it his way he would bowl every single day. Jim will be sorely missed by his family and a community of friends.
Survivors include his three children, Norma Procarione, Barbara Procarione, both of Price, John (Carmela) Procarione, Spring Glen; brother, Ernie Procarione, West Valley; sister, Juanita Budo, Price; brother-in-law, Boyd Berensen, Price; sisters-in-law, Alma Rae Procarione, Price, Kathleen Procarione, Salt Lake; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Betty; son, Jim; brothers, Glenn and Rudy; sister, Norma Berensen; brother-in-law, Ralph Budo; sister-in-law, Pat Procarione; nieces, Paula Berensen and Karen Olsen.
Graveside service, Friday, July 21, 2017, 10:00 a.m., Cliffview Cemetery in Price. Family will receive friends at Mitchell Funeral Home Friday morning from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Jim online.
