Mary Bigbee

CANON CITY, CO- Mary S. Franco Bigbee, age 85, passed away on June 25, 2017 in Cannon City, Colorado. Mary was born to proud parents, Pete and Manuelita Herrera Franco in Gallup, New Mexico on November 29, 1931. She was raised in beautiful Dragerton – East Carbon, Utah. 
Mary graduated from Carbon High in 1951 and started working in Salt Lake City at the Dragerton Dept. Store and attended business school.
In 1965, Mary moved to Colorado. She worked for Climax Company Store and taught religion class where she met Billy J. Bigbee. They Married on July 25, 1969 in East Carbon, Utah. Together they resided in Buena Vista, Colorado. He preceded her in death on October 10, 2004.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy J. Bigbee; brothers, Pete A. Franco, Frank R. Franco, and sister, Dorothy Franco Lucero.
Survived by her brother, Paul R. Franco, Salt Lake City, Utah; sisters, Sylvia Pacheco, Boise, Idaho, Cecelia Martinez, Riverside, California, Janet Clorice (Michael) Campos, Gallup, New Mexico, and Darlene Romero, Price, Utah; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass, Friday, July 14, 2017, 10:00 a.m. Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church in Price, Utah. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where family and friends are welcome daily and may share memories of Mary online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
