PRICE-Ronald Odell Lindsey, age 74, passed away peacefully at home on April 15, 2017.
He was born February 10, 1943 in Price, Utah to Odell and Birdie Lindsey. Married the love of his life and high school sweetheart Phyllis Chubbuck on September 2, 1961 in Spring Glen. Together they had three wonderful children.
Dad was a lifelong resident of Carbon County where he worked in various coal mines for over 42 years. He was a kind, loving, generous and a man of his word. Ron enjoyed fishing, camping, and hunting with his family and friends at his favorite spots- Fishlake and Strawberry Reservoir. He is our hero.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Lindsey; daughters, Cindy Lindsey, Ginger Christensen (Brett); son, Ron Lindsey Jr. (Kristi); 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; brother, David Lindsey (Bonnie); sister, Maxine Lindsey; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, in-laws, Robert and Marie Chubbuck; and brother, Anthony “The Rev.” Lindsey.
Funeral service, Wednesday, April 19, 2017, 12:00 noon, Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main) in Price where the family will receive friends at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Price City Cemetery.
