HELPER- Our loving mother, daughter, granddaughter and friend, Tara Lee Kuhl Zmerzlikar, age 42, passed away peacefully March 13, 2017 after a long and hard fight with cancer.
She was born in Price, Utah on August 26, 1974 to John and Merrilee Wayman Zmerzlikar.
Tara was a fun and loving mother to Devin and Ruth, whom she loved so very much. They were her life. She was a kind and compassionate person. People that knew her loved her and liked to be around her. She had friends from ages 20 to 60 because it didn’t matter, Tara loved everyone. Tara moved to Boise, Idaho and worked as an Academic Interventionist at the detention center. She loved her job and the people she worked with. Her co-workers told us what a fun positive person she was. She never complained and worked until a month ago. She truly loved her friends from Boise. Thank you to all of them for their friendship and love. Tara loved to have fun and enjoyed traveling, but her favorite was to go camping and fishing. She has been our rock and soul of our family. Her smile and “I’m okay” sentiment will always bring a smile to all of us. Tara we love you to the moon and back. Now that you are with your brother Terrence you two will rock heaven. Till we meet again, your forever a smile away. Tara loved life and her family and many friends. We have been impressed by all the comments from everyone, thank you from our hearts. Tara will truly be missed. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Community Nursing Services for their excellent care and love. Thank you to Angie, Cassie, Candace, Dr. Potter, Ashley, Sherald, Jennifer and Janarie. You have made a difference in our lives. You are angels on earth.
Survived by her parents, John and Merrilee Zmerzlikar, Helper; children, Devin Lee, California, Ruth Lee, Helper; brother, Derek (Mary) Zmerzlikar, Huntington; grandmother, Ramona Zmerzlikar, Helper; uncles and aunts, Frank (Jeanane) Zmerzlikar, Wyoming, Dennis (Judy) Ardohain, Price, Reeve (Dawna) Cook, Logan, Ruth Wayman, Elmo.
Preceded in death by her brother, Terrence Zmerzlikar; niece, Kieran Zmerzlikar; grandfathers, Robert Zmerzlikar and George Poulos; grandmother, Florence Tucker Poulos; uncles, Tracy Poulos and Jerry Wayman.
Funeral service, Thursday, March 16, 2017, 11:00 a.m., Helper LDS Stake Center. Family will receive friends Thursday morning from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment, Mt. View Cemetery, Helper.
