The Carbon County Chamber of Commerce Big Business award was presented during the Chamber banquet held last week at the Carbon Country Club. Auto Farm/Price Auto Group is a business that serves our community extremely well. They have been in business for just over 25 years!
Auto Farm/Price Auto Group first started as a small dealership purchased in 1991 from Bill Merrill and now has expanded dealerships across the country, including three dealerships in Indiana, one in Wyoming, one in American Fork, and two here in Carbon County. This includes an upcoming newly updated Ford Dealership just off the highway near the Hospital exit. The Chamber feels that this is going to be a great touch to the Cities Beautification Project that has recently been approved.
This dealership always willing to support Carbon & Emery County Athletics, USU Eastern, many local charities, and several personal donations, one of which included giving away a free car to a local family in need due to a child with cancer whom needed a way for transportation.
They have continued to be a proud sponsor of the Desert View Pro Rodeo and are the main sponsor for the Carbon County Search & Rescue Demolition Derby.
They have 38 employees at the Price location, some whom have been working with the dealership for over 10-15 years. One of their long time employees said, “They are amazing to work for and I couldn’t ask for better bosses!”
The Carbon County Chamber of Commerce believes that our Best Big Business Award for 2016 is well deserved because of Auto Farm/Price Auto Group’s honorable contribution to our community.
