Draven Farmer, 20, of East Carbon was target practicing when he accidentally shot himself. A witness at the scene said Farmer pulled the pistol from its holster not realizing there was a bullet in the chamber. As he drew the gun out his finger hit the trigger. The bullet struck Farmer in the ankle. He was transported to Castleview Hospital.
