CARBONVILLE/EAST CARBON-Julia (Julie) Helene Dance Hansen, age 50, passed away March 29, 2015 at Utah Valley Regional Hospital in Provo.
Julie was born May 24, 1964 in Vincennes, Ind. to Daniel and Cindy Byers Dance. Married Richard Gary Hansen, Jan. 21, 1983 in Price.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Julie was a longtime crafter, homemaker who loved spending her summers at Ferron Reservoir. Family was the most important thing in her life and Julie spent every chance she had being “Ma” to her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family and a community of friends.
Survived by her loving husband, Richard Hansen, Price; daughters, Mistie (Ryan) Archibald, Price, Haley (Hayden) Kedzlie, Leeston, New Zealand; mother, Cindy Dance, East Carbon; sisters, Shauna Colonna, Price, Valarie (Kelly) Allred, Venice; four grandchildren with one on the way.
Julie was preceded in death by her father, Daniel “Danny” Dance; her grandparents, many loving aunts and uncles.
Funeral service, Friday, April 3, 2015, 11 a.m., at the East Carbon LDS Ward. Family will receive friends at the church Friday one hour prior to services. Interment, Cliffview Cemetery, located at 1850 East 800 North in Price.
