With the start of the 3A State Tournament less than a week away, the Carbon High Lady Dinos will look to regain momentum after falling to Payson 61-55 on the road on Thursday evening.
Lindsey Blanc and Jordan Scoggins combined for 31 points and teammate Jerika Morgan pulled down 10 rebounds in the loss.
Despite the loss, Carbon (15-7, 6-2 Region 12) finished in first place in the region and will host a First Round Playoff game against Pine View (10-8 overall, 6-6 Region 9) on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 7 p.m.
