The annual Carbon High football Blue and White scrimmage took place last Friday night to a sizable crowd for a late summer evening.
Coach Leo Paur felt good about what he saw on the field, as he stalked the sidelines putting plays together and giving advice. He wore a relaxed grin and commented, “I’m having fun this year.”
Players from the freshman and sophomore team on up to the varsity took to the field to get one last chance at making their case to be a starter on their squads. Mistakes were made and learning continued as the boys put on a show for the crowds.
Carbon will play their first game of the season against Duchesne this Friday night on the road and are hoping to post their first victory in a while.
