The United States Bureau of Land Management recently announced that the federal agency’s proposed resource plan for the Price field office is available to the public.
The release of the proposed resource management plan initiates a 30-day protest period, explained the BLM.
The federal agency prepared the documents considering public input received during the comment period for the draft proposed resource management plan and in consultation with cooperating agencies, Utah and the counties within the Price office area.
The Price BLM field office received numerous comment submissions on the draft proposed resource management plan, pointed out the federal agency.
All comments and the BLM’s responses are included with the document. The document also highlights the changes made between the draft and the proposed resource management plans.
The protest period started Aug. 29, the date the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency published the notice of availability of the proposed resource management plan in the Federal Register. The public comment period will conclude Sept. 29.
After any protests are addressed, the BLM will issue a record of decision in connection with the matter, noted the federal agency. The action will authorize the management decisions outlined in the Price field office plan.
