Kylee Quinlog of East Carbon burns the last of her sparklers as the July 24 celebration comes to an end. With the driest of the summer season to come, fire warden Rudy Sandoval reports that fires are just now picking up in the local area. All local fire officials would like to remind residents to keep all recreational fires to a minimum and practice prudent fire safety at all times.
