Two Carbon county rescuers run toward a Utah Department of Public Safety helicopter on Monday evening between flights to a plane crash site in Desolation Canyon on the Carbon/Uintah County line.
The plane crashed sometime on Sunday and at least some of the occupants of the aircraft were reportedly rescued by a group of rafters on the Green River and then air lifted by AirMed.
However details about the crash and if there were more victims were sketchy on Monday and the Carbon County Sheriff’s Department was busy investigating the incident. The crash reportedly started a fire in the area as well.
