Catcher Stephen Torres makes a tag at home base as Dawson Community College tried a squeeze play to move home an early run.

The season for the Eagles started back in February when the snow was feet deep everywhere.
But that is the schedule for college baseball and the College of Eastern Utah knew they had to deal with it.
A rocky start against some really good teams set the tone for the season so far.
The Eagles did get on a winning streak, taking two games from Weber.
Starting South Western Athletic Conference play, the Eagles managed to win three of four from Colorado Northwestern.
But then they hit the cream of the SWAC teams. First taking on top ranked SLCC (11-1) for four games, the Eagles dropped the series.
They then had to travel to Henderson, Nev. to meet up with number two ranked Southern Nevada (9-3).
The Eagles fate was not much better. They again lost all four games of the series.
CEU is currently 3-9 in SWAC play and 5-20 overall for the season.
CEU hopes to get back on track with a game against Dawson College on Wednesday. Scores were not available at press time.
They also host CSI this weekend at home for four games.
The Friday double header will start at 1 p.m. and 3p.m. On Saturday game times are 12 noon and 2 p.m.
