Ruth, Michael and Daniel Dunn came from Summerville, S.C. last week to pray and fast for the trapped and deceased miners at Crandall Canyon.
Last Monday they spent the day praying and fasting as their congregation at home also spent the day doing the same thing.
The three drove the 2100 miles from home to support the people of the miners, the families of the miners and the people of the area.
“There was a sense of urgency in us to pray at home, but we felt the prayers weren’t being answered,” said Ruth Dunn, who along with Michael are ministers at the Family of Messiah Fellowship. “So we came here to pray to the mountain.”
