Ralph Lehman


PRICE – Ralph David Lehman passed away March 29, 2007.
He was born to Ernst Lehman and Stella Smith on April 18, 1933 in Lorimor, Iowa. He married Wilma Page in 1949 and had one child within this union, David Boan (Trish). He married Glenda Prettymen on Aug. 19, 1955 and had five children within this union, Sandra (Brent) Johnson, Mike (Sandy) Lehman, Larry (Peggy) Lehman, Nadene (Scott) Davis, and Ralph Jr. He married Diana Kay Maupin on May 10, 1982; stepchildren, David (Larue) Berry, Laura (David II) Stockinger, Janice Taylor, and Linda (Larry) Frye.
Ralph proudly served our country in the United Stated Air Force from 1954 to 1958. He took great pride in landscaping his yard, was an excellent wood crafter, loved the outdoors, and enjoyed camping and fishing. Ralph also enjoyed family gatherings at his home and in Iowa.
Ralph is survived by wife, Kay, of Price; one brother, three sisters in Iowa, 10 children, 29 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by mother; father; and son, Ralph Jr.
Husband, daddy, pa, poppy, brother, and uncle, he will be missed by all that knew him.
Memorial services will be at a later date.


Lawrence Scoggins


CASTLE DALE – Lawrence (Larry) Leroy Scoggins, age 66, passed away at Castleview Hospital on March 25, 2007 after a sudden illness.
He was born Sept. 25, 1940 in Bakersfield, Calif., to Claude and Louise Scoggins and was one of 11 childdren.
Larry lived most of his life in California. When he was young he was an ironworker and a firefighter. He also served two years in the U.S. Army. After he came to Utah he became a truck driver and did that until he died.
He loved playing with his grandchildren. He enjoyed going to garage and yard sales and liked doing odd jobs for his family and friends. Larry will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Larry is survived by son, David (Barbara) Scoggins, Spring Glen; daughter, Mindy (Jesse) Vipperman, Castle Dale; and eight grandchildren. Also survived by mother, Louise Scoggins, Joshua Tree, Calif.; sisters, Sharilyn (Roger) Dau, Downey, Calif.; Marilyn (Melvin) Reck, Moreno Valley, Calif.; Karen (Paul) Peavey, Shelby, N.C.; Patty Scoggins, California; brothers, Steve (Diane) Scoggins, La Mirada, Calif.; Robert (Sherry) Scoggins, Redlands, Calif.; Mike Scoggins, Las Vegas, Nev.; and Jeff Scoggins, Las Vegas, Nev. He was preceded in death by father, Claude; and two brothers, Eddie and Bruce.
On Monday, March 26, the family had a small private ceremony, arrangements under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home.


Vera Bruno


SALT LAKE CITY/PRICE – Vera O. Bruno, age 78, passed away March 26, 2007 in Salt Lake City.
Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother was born Jan. 1, 1929 in Vernal to Vaun and Etella O’Neil. Vera married Micheal F. Bruno Nov. 27, 1947 in Price. Their marriage was solemnized April 2, 1952 in the Manti LDS Temple.
Vera was a beautiful seamstress, talented and loving cook, member of the LDS Church, and loved to be in the service of her church and family.
She is survived by children, Claudia (Scott) Horsley of Las Vegas, Nev.; Christine (Douglas) Trease of Price; daughter-in-law, Kittie Bruno of West Valley; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Micheal Felix Bruno; and son, Stephen Paul Bruno.


Renee Cook


WELLINGTON – Renee Cook, 45, died April 1, 2007 in Price.
She was born Dec. 8, 1961 in Price to Ronald and Carol Cook.
The loves of Renee’s life were her daughters and grandson. She loved fishing and laying in the sun in her leopard bikini.
She is survived by companion, Brian Harris; parents, Ronald and Carol Cook; daughters, Tasha (Joey) Albert, Ronnie Hope Chiaretta; grandson, Brennen Albert; brothers, Randy (Colleen), Ricky (Angelena), Roger (Barbara), Curtis (Kim); and sister, Cherie (Mike) Jolly.
Funeral services will be Thursday, April 5, 1 p.m. at the Price 7th LDS Ward Chapel, 995 E. 700 North. Viewing will take place Wednesday, April 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary, 680 E. 100 South, Price, and one hour prior to services on Thursday. Burial, Cliffview Cemetery, Price.
