CORTEZ, Colo. – Sharon Ann Wichmann passed away at her home in Cortez, Colo., on Sunday, March 25, 2007. She was 62 years old.
Sharon was born Nov. 15, 1944, the daughter of Henry and Hattie Ella (Luebbe) Karlinsey in Milwaukee, Wis. She married Donald Warren Wichmann in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple on Dec. 16, 1970.
She was a longtime member of the LDS Church and loved to read in her free time. She got to meet her first grandbaby and was excited about the news of her second grandbaby that is on its way. She enjoyed her other three grandchildren.
Surviving Sharon are husband of 36 years, Donald Wichmann of Cortez, Colo.; two sons, Jared Wichmann and Jason (Patricia) Wichmann, all of Price; daughter, Heather (Christopher) Sandoval, of Price; one granddaughter, Kaylee Desirae Sandoval; other grandchildren, Darien, Daralynne and Rosie Wichmann. Sharon was preceded in death by parents; and infant daughter, Davina Rae Wichmann.
Funeral services for Sharon Ann Wichmann will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, March 29 at the Cortez Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, M Road Chapel under the direction of Ertel Funeral Home. Graveside service, Friday, March 30, 11 a.m. Interment, Cliffview Cemetery, Price. Gary Ariotti


CASTLE GATE/GLENDORA, Calif. – Gary Ariotti, 66, of Glendora, Calif., died March 23, 2007 following a courageous battle with multiple myeloma.
Gary grew up in Castle Gate, spending time with his Grandma (Ma) and Uncle Kido. Gary retired in 1994 after a 38 years with Avon Products in Pasadena, Calif., during which time he was co-owner, then owner of Allen Trucking. After retiring from Avon he went to work for Dirksen Transportation as a mobile mechanic, retiring again in 2001.
Gary was an avid dune buggy enthusiast, spending many years camping and off-road riding with family and friends mostly in the sand dunes at Glamis. He also loved camping in Big Bear at Heart Bar Campground.
Survived by wife of 44 years, Diane; sons, Jay (Carol) and Robert; grandson, Nick; and granddaughter, Devin; brother, Raymond Ariotti (Marie); brother-in-law, Ken Willett; and many much loved nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles and dear friends. Preceded in death by father, Remo; mother, Fern; and stepfather, Hugh Kiler.

Dee Anderson


PRICE/FARMINGTON – Our dear sweet mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away March 27, 2007 in Farmington from complications of multiple myeloma.
She was born March 23, 1932 in Glenwood, Minn., to Clarence T. and Agnes L. Erickson.
She was a true Scandinavian who loved to cook and sew and was able to teach her skills to her daughters, granddaughters and many others.
At the age of 17, she found a personal relationship with her Savior and joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She then served a mission for the church in her native Minnesota in the Central States Mission.
Her goal in life was to come to Utah and marry a good Mormon man, which she did when she married the love of her life Merlynn O. Anderson. They moved to Carbon County and raised five children. She later also served a mission for the church with her eternal companion Merlynn in the San Antonio Texas LDS Mission.
Dee was active in the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, and also loved genealogy, photo album scrapbooking and collecting dolls.
She is survived by children, D’Lynn of Price; Ralph (Crystal) of Springville; Merlynn (Lissa) of Farmington; James of Dallas, Texas; and J’Lynn (Jason) of Lincoln, Calif.; and 14 grandchildren. She is also survived by brother, Dean (Mary) of Minneapolis, Minn.; and Jery (Bob) in Kamiah, Idaho. She has gone home now to be with her husband, daughter, mother and her dad who preceded her in death.
Viewing will be at Fausett Mortuary in Price, Thursday, March 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be in the East Carbon Ward, Friday, March 30, 11 a.m., with viewing one hour prior to service. Burial, Price City Cemetery under the direction of Fausett Mortuary.


Dirk Davies


PRICE/DAYTON, Ohio – Dirk H. Davies, age 50, passed away Monday, March 19, 2007, at his home with his loving family.
Born Oct. 10, 1956 in Filmore.
Dirk was a LPM, WCC, employed at Crossroads Hospice. He touched many lives throughout his life and will be greatly missed by his family, friends and colleagues.
He is survived by loving wife, Carol Zimmerman; parents, Richard and Janice Davies of Utah; son, Anthony Davies of Nevada; niece, Sabrina Hursh of Ohio; sister, Barbara and Butch Olsen; brother, Rick and Sheri Davies of Utah; daughter-in-law, Christy Christensen; many grandchildren, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins. His son, Clinton Christensen preceded him in death.
A memorial gathering will be held March 31, 2 p.m. at 2700 East 6500 South, Price. For information or directions call 637-4313.
