Donna Christy
CASTLE GATE/WEST VALLEY CITY – Donna Holliman Poulson Christy, “Aunt Donna” 74, passed away March 19, 2007 in West Valley City.
Born May 8, 1932 in Castle Gate, daughter of Henry Lawrence and Delma Sims Holliman. Married Don S. Poulson in 1950; later divorced. Married Walter Leroy Christy; he preceded her in death in 1985.
Donna was loved by all who knew her. Her wit and love of life affected everyone around her. She was the life of the party, if not the party herself. She will be missed!
Survived by son, D. Wayne (Shelley); daughter, Ruby Eileen (Peter Craig) Heller, both of Granger; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; brother, Lawrence Boyd (Colleen) Holliman; sister, Nellie Padgett. Preceded in death by parents; husbands; great-grandson, Colton; brother-in-law, Oscar C. Padgett; sister, Norma Felt.
The family wishes to thank her care givers at Rocky Mountain Care Center for their love and devotion and also the U of U Hospital staff.
Funeral services will be Saturday, noon, at the Jordan North LDS 6th Ward, 3836 West 4100 South. A viewing will be held Friday, 6 to 8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Saturday at the church from 11 to 11:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memoral Park.
