The College of Eastern Utah golf class and team have finished up another year. According to golf instuctor and coach Cardell Sacket this was a good year. “We had good participation with a full class, and the team kept close with other schools that have much larger programs,” said the CEU coach. The class was capped at 14 members this year and five of those qualified to play other two year schools such as Snow College, Salt Lake Community College and others from around the state. According to Coach Sackett each college hosts a tournament and luncheon at their home course and we are fortunate to have the support of the Carbon Country Club, Tom King Jr. and Kenji.
“I feel this years success was manifest in the abilities and improvements of the players. Everyone worked well together and improved in scoring and ability,” concluded the CEU coach.
