Local residents should regularly check a vehicle’s belts, hoses and fluids under the hood. Motorists should also regularly inspect tire tread and pressure along with a vehicle’s braking systems. In addition, all passengers and drivers are reminded to buckle safety belts whether traveling in town or on the highway.
