An article announcing the layoff of 114 coal workers published in the Dec. 19 edition of the Sun Advocate incorrectly reported the production status at Tower mine.
UtahAmerica’s Tower mine will not halt all production during the company’s planned capital improvements. Tower will continue to run one eight-hour per workday production shift at the mine.
The newspaper regrets the inadvertent error.
