Editor:
I would like to invite the heroes in the legislature who helped kill the Highway 6 bill to please come down and start attending funerals in our area.
Please come and explain to those of us who have lost loved ones on that road why our very prosperous, energy rich, state cannot afford to widen Highway 6.
Please come down and drive our Legacy Highway South, the full length, periodically, especially on a holiday weekend.
Are deaths and injuries on our infamous road considered an acceptable level of carnage?
Remember too that there are school buses regularly traveling on the highway too.
