Heather McFarland, who had 27 set assists in a match this past weekend, fights with a Snow player for the ball earlier in the season in a contest with the Lady Badgers at the BDAC.

Looking ahead to the Scenic West Athletic Conference tournament, CEU knows it is going to have to go up against Snow in the first round.
It would have been nice for the team to have had a good match against the Lady Badgers in last weekends final regular season match up, but that wasn’t to be.
Snow wrapped up its season downing the Eagles in both matches of the weekend. CEU continued to struggle as they lost 20-30,24-30 and 21-30 in the Friday night match-up. Maren Erickson played strong with seven kills on the night. The team played without Karina Rocha for Friday night’s games. Jamie King and Emily Dowey stepped up to take up the slack.
On Saturday, Rocha and Erickson put up 19 kills between them in the other loss the team suffered. Snow took the match 15-30, 20-30 and 25-30. Heather McFarland was credited with 27 set assists in the match. The loss drops the Eagles to 0-12 in conference play.
The team will travel to Northern Idaho (Coeur d’Alene) this Saturday to meet Snow again in the first round of the tournament. They will play at 1:00 p.m.
The loser goes home and the winner will meet up with the first place Northern Idaho team at 6:00 that night.
